Notice is hereby given that an Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Mary will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 15^th December 2022 at 7.30pm to conduct the following business:

1. To receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on Thursday 18^th August 2022

1. To appoint Roads Committee members to fill vacancies on the Comité des Chemins due to arise on 1^st January 2023 for a term of three years.
2. To appoint Roads Inspecteurs des Chemins for Vingtaine du Nord and Vingtaine du Sud to fill vacancies arising on 1^st January 2023 for a term of three years.
3. In Accordance with Article 32 of the Rates (Jersey) Law, 2005, to appoint Rates Assessors for vacancies on the Rates Assessment Committee arising on 1^st January 2023 for three years.
4. Any Other Business

Notice is hereby given that an Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Mary will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 18^th August 2022 at 7.30pm to conduct the following business:

1. To receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of a Parish Assembly on 22nd July 2021 at 7.30.
2. To receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly Meeting held on 20^th June 2022 at 8pm
3. To receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of the Nomination Meeting held on 20^th June 2022 at 7.45pm
4. To receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts of the Constable for the financial year 1^st May 2021 to 30^th April 2022, the said account having been previously audited by the parish Accountants and examined by the Committee appointed for that purpose.
5. Receive and, if deemed advisable, approve estimates for the requirements of the Parish for the financial year ending 30^th April 2023, including proposals to make transfers form the general reserve fund for specified purposes. Including grants to various charities and organisations.

Nomination Meeting 17th May 2022 7.15pm

To elect one Procureur du Bien Public to complete the term of office of Helen Mills, Procureurs du Bien Public of the Parish of St Mary for the remainder of a 3 year term of office expiring March 2023

To Vote a sum of money to cover the expense of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

To inform the overspend of the C.C.T.V installation has been exceeded and approve the sum of money from the reserves to cover the cost.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 28th October 2021 at 7pm to elect 1 Constables Officer for a 3-year term of office expiring September 2024.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 25th August 2021 at 7.30pm to take into consideration the application from J J Le Sueur Limited who desire to be recommended to the Licensing Assembly for the grant of a liquor licence.

A Nomination Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 12th August 2021 at 8.15pm to elect one Centenier for a 3-year term of office arising 8th September 2021.

A Nomination Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 12th August 2021 at 8.00pm to elect one Procureur du Bien Public for a 3-year term of office commencing 8th September 2021.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Community Centre Hall on Thursday 22nd July 2021 at 7.30pm to conduct the following business: to receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts of the Connétable for the financial year 1st May 2020 to 30th April 2021; vote a sum of money for use by the Parish Roads Committee, for the upkeep and maintenance of the Parish by-roads for the year ending 30 April 2022; receive and, if deemed advisable, approve estimates for the requirements of the Parish for the financial year ending 30 April 2022; approve a rate for the year 2021 of an amount which will produce for the Parish income sufficient to satisfy the requirements; elect a Committee to examine the Connétable’s accounts for the year ending 30 April 2022; approve a firm of Chartered Accountant to audit the Connétable’s Accounts for the year ending 30th April 2022.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 1st July 2021 at 7.30pm to conduct the following business: to appoint a Vingtenier Sud; to appoint 2 Constable Officers; to re-appoint the Comité Nouveau Cimitière; to discuss access at La Ruette – vehicular restrictions (lockable bollard); to discuss La Rue du Frontiere to La Rue du Bel Air – vehicular access (lockable bollards); to discuss the width restriction on La Rue ès Boeuf.

An assembly will be held in the Parish Hall on Thursday 27th May 2021 at 8pm to: approve, if deemed advisable, the Churchwardens’ Accounts for the year 2019 – 2020, 2020 -2021; elect Church Officers for the year 2021-2022; elect a Committee to examine the Churchwardens’ Accounts for the financial year 2021-2022; conduct the sale of Froments.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 10th March 2021 at 8.00pm to elect 3 Constable Officers for a 3-year term of office expiring March 2024.

A Nomination Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 10th March 2021 at 8.30pm to elect one Procureur du Bien Public for the remainder of a 3-year term of office expiring 12th March 2023.

A Nomination Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 12th November 2020 at 8.00pm to elect one Centenier for a 3-year term of office arising 15th December 2020 expiring December 2023.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 12th November 2020 at 8.15pm to conduct the following business: elect a Rates Assessor for 3 years arising on 31st December 2020 to 31st December 2023; elect a Rates Assessor to complete the term of office to 31st December 2022.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 at 8.00pm to conduct the following business: to receive the accounts for St Mary and Community Centre for the period ending 30th April 2020 and to ratify the appointment of officers elected at the St Mary’s Youth and Community AGM (Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-Chairman); to discuss the “coffinpath”/road from La Rue de Rosiere to La Rue de Vallee and the installation of a drainage connection for properties known collectively as La Rosiere; to consider and approve a sum of £8,500 in order to install CCTV to the Community Centre area.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Community Hall on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 8pm to conduct the following business: to receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Constable’s estimates for the financial year 1st May 2020 to 30th April 2021; to name a Committee to examine the accounts of the Connétable for the financial year 1st May 2020 to 30th April 2021; to reappoint the current firm of Chartered Accountants, Alex Picot to audit the Connétable’s Accounts for the year ending; to receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts and ratification of officers of St Mary’s Youth and Community Centre; to approve the revised charges for the New Parish Cemetery.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Monday 24th February at 7.30pm to take into consideration the application from Samuel John Pierce, who desires to be recommended to the Licensing Assembly for the grant of a liquor licence.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 12th February at 8.30pm to elect a Constable’s Officer for a 3-year term of office.

The Nomination Meeting will be held on Wednesday 12th February 2020 to elect one Procureur du Bien Public for a 3-year term of office expiring March 2023 and elect one Centenier for a 3-year term of office expiring March 2023.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 5th December 2019 at 8pm to conduct the following business: to elect three Roads Committee members; to elect two Inspecteurs des Chemins for Vingtaine du Nord; to elect two Inspecteurs des Chemins for Vingtaine du Sud; to elect two Rates Assessors for vacancies on the Experts Comité.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 7th November 2019 at 8pm to conduct the following business: to elect one Vingtenier for the Vingtaine Nord for a period of three years; to elect a St Mary Planning Committee for a period of two years; to approve the New Cemetery Regulation Handbook.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 21st August 2019 at 8pm to conduct the following business: to receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Connétable’s estimates for the financial year 1st May 2019 to 30th April 2020; to name a Committee to examine the accounts of the Connétable for the financial year 1st May 2019 to 30th April 2020; to receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts and ratification of officers of St Mary’s Youth and Community Centre; to present details of the new Parish Petanque Club House following approval on 11th July of the transfer of £9000 into the Reserve Fund; to approve the revised charges for the New Parish Cemetery.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 11th July 2019 at 8pm to conduct the following business: to receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts of the Connétable for the financial year 1st May 2018 to 30th April 2019; to approve the transfer from the Reserve Fund to the Roads Committee £30,000 for the upkeep of the by-roads during the financial year ending 30th April 2020; to approve the transfer from the Reserve Fund to the Community Projects budget £9,000 for the building of a Parish Petanque Club House; to receive and, if deemed advisable, adopt the accounts of St Mary’s Youth and Community Centre; to receive and, if deemed advisable, approve the Connétable’s estimates for the financial year 1st May 2019 to 30th April 2020; to name a Committee to examine the accounts of the Connétable for the financial year 1st May 2019 to 30th April 2020; to appoint an auditor to examine the accounts for the final year 1st May 2019 to 30th April 2020.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 8.15pm to elect a Constable’s Officer for a 3-year term of office expiring June 2022.

A Nomination Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 8.00pm to elect one Centenier for a 3-year term of office expiring June 2022. To vote in this election you must have registered by midday on Wednesday 1st May 2019.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 18th April 2019 at 6.30 pm to approve and authorize the Rector and the Churchwardens to seek a faculty which will allow for the lowering of the floor level of the raised area on the north side of the church which is presently a health & safety hazard.

An Assembly will be held at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Thursday 21st February 2019 at 8.00 pm to conduct the following business: to approve the transfer of £10,000 from the Reserve Account to cover additional Rectory refurbishment costs; to elect one Rates Assessor; to present and seek approval of the new constitution for St Mary’s Youth and Community Centre; to receive the accounts for the St Mary Youth and Community Centre for the period 01.05.17 to 30.04.18.
