Dog regulations

As the JEP recently identified, from 1st May 2024 until 30th September 2024, dogs must now be kept on leads when at the beach during the hours of 10.30a.m. and 6p.m.

A gentle reminder that dogs must also be kept on leads when walking through farm land, particularly when livestock are in the field. Several animals have been lost this year from being chased by dogs.

Parishioners have reported seeing an increase in dog mess left without bagging up and disposing of it appropriately. Please note that not only is leaving it harmful to others who may inadvertently step in or touch it, there is a £500 fine for anyone caught not clearing it up.
