The hugely popular miniature railway of St Mary is having another open day on Saturday 25 October with a Halloween theme.
Get up close to the trains as they journey around the garden. Features of the railway – such as the bridges, tunnels and foot crossing – are popular with kids (young or old!)
What to expect on the day:
- Guest appearances from Thomas and some of his friends
- At the entrance will be a small layout for the kids (big and small!) to play with
- A scavenger hunt scouring the details of the layout with a sweet treat for those completing
- A cafe with snacks and refreshments
- Seating to take a rest and watch the trains (and the kids) go round.
- Volunteers operate the layout. If you have any questions, just ask someone in a maroon t-shirt who will be happy to chat.
